What are You Afraid of?

There is no dark secret in your subconscious mind. There is no dirty disgusting thought in your deep mind. There is no shame there. There is no boredom there.

Your secrets might be common human wounds. Your darkest thoughts might be common human misunderstandings. Your boredom might be common human need for love. Fragmented mind is not who you are. The wholeness is what we want, and what we already are. To be it, it helps that we have all aspects of the mind on board, and love can be easily expressed.

The first step is always the willingness to look at it as it is, honestly.

A Passionate Life

The belief “doing what I love to do will not financially support me” implies this truth: “Doing what I do not like to do will financially support me”. Just by typing those words out gives me a sickness in the stomach. What a terrible world this is! In this world, to be financially supported, I can only do what I don’t like to do!

Can everyone be hypnotized?

Pretending is a powerful act. Everyone knows how to pretend. You can pretend until you pretend so well that you can pretend that you are not pretending anymore.

Earth, the Haunted House Experience

These thoughts have been in my mind for a while, now that we are approaching Halloween, the time is just right to let these thoughts out.

It is funny that we earth people think living humans are the real “living” ones, those in spirit are “dead”. Therefore afterlife for us is like a haunting experience.

Yet from the spirit perspective, which is more long-lasting really, the whole earth experience is like a haunting house trip, for generations and lifetimes.

Stop Feeling Responsible for Unconscious Process 0

Stop Feeling Responsible for Unconscious Process

It is amazing how people feel consciously responsible for stuff that is actually generated by their unconscious mind. The embarrassment is the conscious mind trying to feel it needs to control the situation when the situation is caused unconsciously which means they cannot control the way conscious mind thinks. For example, I can have much more conscious control over whether I speak rudely to someone, of which means I can take the responsibility, than whether I blush or hiccup or blink, which I can’t be responsible for.

Why is it Important to Meditate? 0

Why is it Important to Meditate?

A hypnotherapist talking about meditation might be unusual, or not. But the hypnotic state and a meditative state may not be so far from each other. Today’s blog post is a video – the longest video I’ve ever done. Enjoy.

Pause, breathe, relax, for just a few minutes, many times a day.

Meditation doesn’t have to be complicated. If meditation is to get out of mind, the mind cannot facilitate meditation, because mind doesn’t like to get out of itself.

A Practical Use of Self-Hypnosis

She is in her early 80’s. I first met her in my Self-Hypnosis for a Better Life Class. She then came to see me twice for hypnotherapy privately. The second time she came, the charge was $120. She only had $100 with her. So she said she’d drop an envelop off at West End Community Centre where I regularly teach classes.

There was no envelop when I next went to teach.

There was still no envelop the week after. I called her number, no answer, no voice message. I sent a text message to that number, and realized it was a land line.

Selfishly Speaking 0

Selfishly Speaking

I’ve always found this word “selfish” intriguing. It’s such an empty word by itself yet there are so many loaded meanings and emotions to it. An artificial word, yet a powerful label.

To be labeled “selfish” is not a nice feeling for many of us so we would do whatever it takes to avoid being labeled as such, mostly, to try to put the happiness of others ahead of our own.

And it’s such a popluar ideal throught human history in most cultures that a lot of people give up what makes them happy to “fit in” the consensus. the problem is, general consensus is just a bunch of ideal, concepts and labels that are all so empty inside.
