Hypnotist – Master of Language
What if not being a native English speaker turned out to be an advantage for a hypnotist?
For me, language is not simply a way of communicating. It is something to listen to, play with, and sometimes take very literally. Words can carry multiple meanings, create unexpected associations, and open doors into the unconscious mind.
From “What brought you here?” — “My feet did.” — to turning “overwhelmed” into “well-whelmed,” and using the words transfer, trance, transform, and transparent during an IVF journey, this is a glimpse into how I use language in my work.
Perhaps the obstacle was never my English.
Perhaps it was the opportunity.
